Sec. 35.06.01.07. Disbursements from the Fund to Selected Nonprofit Training Entities

A. A selected nonprofit training entity shall notify the Department within 6 months and in writing, on a form to be provided by the Department, of a program participants:
(1) Successful completion of the selected nonprofit training entitys training protocol and receipt of a service or support dog from the nonprofit training entity; or
(2) Successful completion of the selected nonprofit training entitys horse therapy protocol.
B. Upon verification of the participants successful program completion, and contingent on available funds, the Department may disburse to the entity up to $10,000 to partially offset the entitys costs for providing horse therapy or a service or support dog and services to a successful program participant.
C. The Department shall consider whether the entity is providing horse therapy or a service dog or a support dog when determining the availability and amount of funds to be disbursed.
