Sec. 33.14.01.04. Agency Responsibilities — State Board

The State Board shall:
A. Prescribe all forms needed to administer the Public Financing Act;
B. Determine the limitation on campaign expenditures for candidates seeking a public contribution using the criteria specified in the Act;
C. Provide full information to the public, to candidates, and to any other interested party on the process of administering the Public Financing Act and on the requirements for obtaining public contributions under the Act;
D. Determine whether a candidate is eligible to receive a public contribution;
E. Order any disbursement to be made from the Fund;
F. As soon as practicable after a gubernatorial primary election, declare the candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor in the general election; and
G. Promptly after the gubernatorial primary or general election, audit all campaign finance reports and other documents submitted by an eligible candidate for that election.
