Sec. 10.54.01.06. Residency Eligibility Determination Process

A. In order to be eligible for WIC benefits, an applicant shall provide to a local agency documentation of Maryland residency, or residency in a state having a reciprocal residency agreement with Maryland.
B. Documentation. In order to document residency, an applicant shall provide to the local agency one of the following:
(1) Dated correspondence documenting the applicants home address;
(2) Maryland driver's license or identification card;
(3) In the case of an applicant who was a prior participant, documentation that the applicant still resides at the same address that is on file with the WIC Program; or
(4) Another item that confirms the residency of the applicant.
C. Recording of Residency Documentation. A local agency shall document proof of residency.
