Each electrologist office and institution teaching the clinical practice of electrology shall maintain and use sterilization equipment adequate in size to accommodate needles, forceps, soaking receptacles, and any other equipment that comes into contact with a client. Needles or forceps dropped on the floor or otherwise contaminated may not be used until sterilized.
