A. Electrologists shall wash their hands using soap, warm water, and good mechanical action immediately before and after treating each patient.
B. A fresh pair of nonsterile, disposable examination gloves shall be worn during the treatment of each patient and while cleaning instruments.
C. Electrologists shall wash their hands before putting on gloves and immediately after removing gloves.
D. The electrologist shall follow universal/standard precautions.
