Sec. 10.44.26.08. Proof of Active Practice of Dentistry or Dental Hygiene

A. In addition to the requirements of Regulation .07 of this chapter, a dentist who has not passed a regional board in accordance with Health Occupations Article, §4-306, Annotated Code of Maryland, shall submit a notarized affidavit or other evidence satisfactory to the Board indicating that during the 5 years preceding application, the dentist has actively engaged in practicing dentistry for at least 850 hours.
B. In addition to the requirements of Regulation .05 of this chapter, a dental hygienist who has not passed a regional board in accordance with Health Occupations Article, §4-306, Annotated Code of Maryland, shall submit a notarized affidavit or other evidence satisfactory to the Board indicating that during the 3 years preceding application, the dental hygienist has actively engaged in practicing dental hygiene for at least 150 hours.
