  • A. The requirement for program approval by the Maryland Higher Education Commission does not apply to:

    (1) Programs conducted by individuals, firms, corporations, or other organizations exclusively for their own employees;

    (2) Apprenticeship and other training offered by unions for their members; and

    (3) Individual instructors who go to various places to offer instruction to not more than one individual.

    B. The exclusion in §A(1) of this regulation does not apply to firms, corporations, or organizations if they enroll individuals other than their own employees.
