A. Repealed.

B. The Psychiatric Services section of the State Health Plan, 1985-1990, Volume 1, "Policies, Standards and Methodologies" (October, 1986) is incorporated by reference. All of Chapter I, and the "Overview" section of Chapter IV, of the 1983-1988 Plan remain applicable to the Psychiatric Services section of the 1985-1990 Plan.
(1) Supplement 7 deletes Standards D(4)(a)(5)(c), D(4)(b)(5)(c), and D(4)(c)(5).
(2) Supplement 8 changes Policy 3 in the Eastern Shore allocation plan to permit new as well as existing acute care general hospitals of any size to apply for adult acute psychiatric beds and to permit special hospitals as well as acute care general hospitals, whether new or existing, to apply for child or adolescent acute psychiatric beds, under certain conditions related to underserved populations, Medicaid participation, and emergency referral arrangements.
(3) Supplement 13 adds a new subsection F to the Psychiatric Services section which includes a projection of bed need, Certificate of Need review standards, preferences and Certificate of Need approval rules, and performance requirements for RTC beds for violent juvenile sex offenders.
(4) Supplement 14 adds a new subsection G to the Psychiatric Services section which includes a projection of bed need, Certificate of Need review standards, preferences and Certificate of Need approval rules, and performance requirements for RTC beds for children and adolescents treated in State and private psychiatric hospitals.Editor's Note: Maryland State Health Plan, incorporation by reference, Supplements 1-4 added or changed material in Regulation .01A of this chapter.
