Sec. 10.16.03.06. Service Buildings

A. Requirements. In camps using service buildings, the following facilities shall be regarded as minimum:
Number Male Female (1) Toilets 1 per 20 15 (2) Urinals 1 per 30 (3) Lavatories 1 per 20 20 (4) *Showers 1 per 20 20 *This shall apply to overnight camping facilities and/or where swimming or bathing is provided. B. Compliance. All toilet, shower, lavatory, and laundry facilities shall be provided and maintained in a clean, sanitary condition and kept in good repair at all times. Separate toilet facilities shall be provided for each sex. Facilities shall be easily accessible and conveniently located. All toilet, shower, lavatory, and laundry room facilities shall be acceptable to the Secretary of the Environment or his designee and shall be in conformity with the State Plumbing Code.
C. Buildings. All service buildings and buildings used for sleeping of living quarters shall have windows or openings for the admission of light and shall be capable of adjustment for purposes of ventilation. All the openings, including doors, shall be properly screened, unless other effective means are provided to control flies and insects. All buildings used for sleeping or living purposes shall be provided with floors which are easily cleaned and in good repair. There shall be at least 3 feet between beds. The beds shall be arranged for head-to-foot or foot-to-foot sleeping.
