Sec. 10.14.04.07. Responsibilities of the Department

The Department shall:

A. Award grants to local health departments and private entities in Baltimore City and Calvert County as specified by Health-General Article, §20-116, Annotated Code of Maryland, for use in providing breast cancer screening services to eligible women under the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program; and

B. Reimburse a participating medical provider under the Reimbursement for Breast and Cervical Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment Program for performing covered breast and cervical cancer diagnosis and treatment services on enrollees, pursuant to funding provided under Health-General Article, §20-116, Annotated Code of Maryland.
