A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

B. Terms Defined.

(1) "Department" has the meaning stated in COMAR 10.09.36.

(2) "Emergency service transporter" means a public entity or volunteer fire, rescue, or emergency medical service that provides emergency medical transportation services.

(3) "Facility" means a hospital or nursing facility including an intermediate care facility, skilled nursing facility, comprehensive care facility, or extended care facility.

(4) "Program" has the meaning stated in COMAR 10.09.36.

(5) "Provider" has the meaning stated in COMAR 10.09.36.

(6) "Recipient" has the meaning stated in COMAR 10.09.36.
