Sec. 10.08.04.04. Eligible Applicants for State Grant Funds

To be eligible to apply for State grant funds under the Act, an applicant shall:

A. Be a county, municipal corporation, or a nonprofit organization;

B. Sponsor a project involving work specified in Regulation .03A of this chapter;

C. Have relevant experience providing related health or human services or provide evidence of intent to contract with a provider of assisted living services; and

D. Certify that the proposed facility will meet the handicap-accessibility requirements of COMAR 10.07.14 and 42 U.S.C. §12101 et seq., or provide a certified waiver from the Department of Housing and Community Development.
