A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

B. Terms Defined.

(1) "Applicant" means any person or governmental unit requesting disclosure of public records.

(2) "Department" means the Maryland Department of Health.

(3) "Official custodian" means the Secretary of Health or the Secretary's designee.

(4) "Secretary" means the Secretary of Health.

(5) "Working day" means every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and official State holidays.
