Sec. 09.20.05.03. Fees and Costs

  • A. The Secretary and the mechanical boards have agreed to average their direct and indirect costs, based on the calculation of costs performed by the Secretary in consultation with the mechanical boards. Based on these calculations, the Board sets the following fees:

    (1) Application:

    (a) Master Natural Gas Fitter - $50;

    (b) Journey Natural Gas Fitter - $25;

    (c) Apprentice Plumber/Gas Fitter - $15;

    (d) Apprentice Natural Gas Fitter - $15; and

    (e) Propane Gas Fitter Certificate - $25.

    (2) Original license and certificate:

    (a) Master Plumber/Gas Fitter - $70;

    (b) Journey Plumber/Gas Fitter - $35;

    (c) Limited Master Plumber - $70;

    (d) Limited Journey Plumber - $35;

    (e) Master Natural Gas Fitter - $70;

    (f) Journeyman Natural Gas Fitter - $35; and

    (g) Propane Gas Fitter - $35.

    (3) License and certificate renewal:

    (a) Master Plumber/Gas Fitter - $70;

    (b) Journey Plumber/Gas Fitter - $35;

    (c) Apprentice Plumber/Gas Fitter - $15;

    (d) Limited Master Plumber - $70;

    (e) Limited Journey Plumber - $35;

    (f) Master Natural Gas Fitter - $35;

    (g) Journeyman Natural Gas Fitter - $25;

    (h) Apprentice Natural Gas Fitter - $15; and

    (i) Propane Gas Fitter - $35.

    (4) License reactivation:

    (a) Master Plumber/Gas Fitter - $50;

    (b) Journey Plumber/Gas Fitter - $20;

    (c) Limited Master Plumber - $50; and

    (d) Limited Journey Plumber - $20.

    B. An applicant for an appropriate license or certification examination shall pay the examination fee directly to the testing service chosen by the Board to develop or administer the examination, as such fees are established by the testing service selected by the Board.
