Sec. 09.14.01.04. Charitable Events

A. A promoter holding a contest to raise funds for a charitable purpose shall file, before the contest, the following information:

(1) The name of the charity the contest benefits;

(2) The amount or percentage of the gross receipts from the contest to be paid to the charity; and

(3) A certificate of registration from the Secretary of State.

B. The Commission shall advise the Secretary of State that a charity contest is scheduled and the names of the principal parties.
