Sec. 08.07.01.10. Fires

A. An individual shall obtain a permit from the Service before kindling, building, maintaining, or using an open fire within a State forest.

B. A fire permit may be revoked at any time by a forest officer.

C. A fire shall be continuously under the surveillance of a competent individual 16 years old or older. A fire shall be extinguished before the responsibility of the permittee ends.

D. An individual may not discard a burning object within a State forest.
